Peggy is built to help you shop more mindfully, and it doesn't collect your data.
What Peggy stores
Items you peg, your savings totals, your settings, and site visit counts used for Focus Mode suggestions. All of it is stored locally in your browser using Chrome's storage and never leaves your device.
What Peggy doesn't do
No accounts. No analytics. No tracking. No selling or sharing your data with anyone. Peggy has no servers, so there's nowhere for your data to go.
Price checks
Once a day, Peggy checks the price on items you've pegged by loading that product's page directly from the store, without cookies. The price is read locally on your device. No information about you is sent anywhere.
Permissions
Peggy needs access to the websites you visit so it can recognize product pages on any store. It only uses this to detect products and check prices on items you've pegged.
Removing your data
Uninstalling Peggy deletes everything it stored.
